I held a large corporate event. The event manager Taylor was very professional and met all of our needs. All of the guests are still talking about the event. Book your next function through Taylor, you won't be disappointed.
Our servers name was Alex and she was amazing. Tonight was our first time eating here. We have lived across the east coast and can honestly say, the food, service and music was amazing. I’d like to add that when severs are hospitable, it makes the service that much better. So, with that, I can say, I will be back and can’t wait.
The food was just as good as I remember. Came home from Oklahoma and reeeaaally wanted some good New England clam chowder...i was not disappointed. And the young woman who waited on me popped up at all the right times..should have got her number)
Lilly greeted me at the door and was very friendly and helpful. Kaitlyn was a terrific server. She checked on me constantly made sure that everything was perfect and smiled the whole time. I had the lobster roll. It’s one of the best ones I ever had if not the best. Definitely a five star Evening all the way around thank you very much.
Slamming whole belly clams, fries, scallops, and steak cooked perfectly medium rare! Offered 2 size portions on the fried platters and the large was perfect. (Almost couldn't finish it;-Had one clam that was no good but that happens and is to be expected!) The service was great, ample free parking, clean bathrooms, casual pub style ambiance, live music was great (singer guitarist was awesome playing soft and alt rock) we went at a 7ish dinner time but it was extremely LOUD in the dining room. (Hoarse trying to talk-I could not hear our server even right next to him) Would absolutely go back.
Very impressed. I ordered the Yankee plater at market price which was around 40 bucks and I can say it was very good It came out hot and crispy .The clams were clean the scallops were big the shrimp a little on the small side... the one piece of fish..haddock was fresh tasting but just a small piece like 2inches by 2 inches no after taste .The waitress was friendly and attentive. Very quick on following up.
The staff here were amazing and fast. We initially requested to sit on the patio, but it was too hot, so we asked to be seated inside instead. They immediately granted our request and quickly fixed our seats inside. Despite the busy location, they served our order very fast. I had mussels, and they were just as good as I expected. Can’t wait to have a vacation in New Hampshire again and try their other food!
Tucked away in a cozy corner of the Makris Lobster and Steak House, Concord, NH, we enjoyed our Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer, 10 oz. Montreal Steak Tips with Cajun Fries, 30 oz. Prime Rib with Baked potato; and their delicious Cheese Cake with Whipped Cream/Strawberries and Italian Lemon Cream Cake. All of the food was tasty and the meats were tender, juicy and cooked perfectly! So, good!!! Our Server, Jeannette, was very nice, very attentive and quite knowledgeable about the preparation of the Prime Rib selection. It’s also notable that Shane, the General Manager, was also on point! We appreciated that he took time to checked in with us about our meals and if we were having a pleasant dining experience. Well, I must say that the answer was an absolute,... Yes! And Yes, like so many others, we highly recommend Makris for a great meal and exceptional service. Prices are reasonable. (*Please note: “All prices include cash discount.
